Applications for London Youth’s CVC Summer Grants are now closed.

Organisations will be informed of the outcome in the week commencing 5th July.

Our partnership with CVC is now in its seventh year and we recognise just how important it is to support our members and the young people you work with at this crucial time.

Young people have been disproportionately affected by Covid-19. We want to support member organisations to re-engage young people effectively in thinking about their future. This year, the grants will support organisations to deliver employability themed projects to support young people’s personal and professional development.

Applications closed on Sunday 20th June 2021 at 11:59pm

Who can apply?

We accept applications from organisations that meet the following criteria:

  • Being a current member of London Youth before 31st May 2021
  • Organisations holding a current London Youth Quality Mark (or similar) or those working towards one

How much can I apply for?

You can apply for up to £4,000 to support the delivery of your organisation’s summer project.

What projects is the 2021 CVC Summer Grants looking to fund?

Applications for summer projects will be reviewed and scored based on the following criteria:

  • Young people’s involvement in the activities.
    • You should be able to demonstrate that young people will be meaningfully involved at multiple stages of the project, from inception to evaluation, through to planning and delivery.
    • We want to see how you will you engage with hard-to-reach young people or young people who have disengaged with your services during Covid-19.
  • Your ability to identify and describe how the funding will be spent and how you will be supporting young people through the project.
    • Alongside your written and/or video application, you should provide a budget outlining how the funding will be spent. Please make sure you use the budget template provided. You should be able to demonstrate the link between your activities, their cost and the outcomes for young people.
  • How your project will achieve sustained impact for the young people that take part in it, in particular to help them gain skills and experience that will contribute to successful employment or positive outcomes in the future.
    • This programme of funding is looking to fund projects that will support young people’s employability prospects. Especially, those that will help young people develop employability skills, attain new qualifications, provide opportunities to gain meaningful experience, and improve their future careers pathways.
