Throughout the year, London Youth puts on a series of events for young people and youth organisations:
- Through our activities in the school holidays, we introduce young people to artists and arts organisations and give them the opportunity to explore new art forms in a safe and supportive environment.
- Our annual Arts Weekender is delivered at one of our residential centres. We work with brilliant partners in the creative and cultural sectors, including Wac Arts, Young Urban Arts Foundation and Immediate Theatre, to programme two full days of creative activities for young people.
- London Youth’s ever-popular Visual Art Competition provides a platform for creative young Londoners and celebrates the visual art activities that youth and community organisations deliver for young people year-round.
- In response to the COVID19 situation, London Youth launched its first ever Poetry Challenge and Film Festival, both accessible to young people online.
