The Observer: Third of youth clubs in London fear closure by end of year

An important piece of coverage for London Youth members and all youth organisations delivering services to young people during the summer holidays and beyond, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rosemary Watt-Wyness, Chief Executive of London Youth stresses “We must not leave young people to fend for themselves on issues as diverse as mental health, unemployment, racial injustice and violence. We know there will be greater reliance on youth clubs during the school holiday period and the absence of any youth sector-specific operating guidance from Government carried a risk for youth workers and young people.”
