23 January 2018

We are very excited to launch London Youth’s first ever Arts Competition in collaboration with Woodrow High House! Inspired by feedback from our youth board, Dare London, we felt it was time to bring a little bit of London to Buckinghamshire and display the talent that our members have to offer. The competition coincides with the launch of our our brand new Arts programme.

Open to all London Youth Members, this is a fantastic opportunity to get creative, have fun and be in with the chance of winning exciting prizes for your organisation. The theme for the visual arts competition is “My London”. We want to see what inspires you, in your own style.

Youth organisations large or small, projects or programmes can work collaboratively and submit a group piece, as well as submissions by individuals. There is no limit on the number of entries your youth organisation can make across the three age categories: 8-12 years, 13-16 years and 17-25 years.

The shortlisted pieces will be displayed at an exhibition in London which young people can bring family, youth leaders and friends to, and the winners of each age group will receive vouchers for their organisation from Hobbycraft, Everyman Cinema and Theatre Tokens.

Each Youth Organisation must complete the online registration form here by 31st January, letting us know how many young people your organisation wishes to enter.

Please see the Entry Pack for more information including: media and techniques; how to submit your work and the judging criteria. If you have any further questions please contact Evie.Edwards@londonyouth.org or Emily.Reddon@londonyouth.org
