Table Tennis Tournament 2013

On Thursday 4 April 2013 London Youth held our annual Table Tennis Tournament at The Morpeth School, Bethnal Green. The tournament was attended by 100 young people from across 20 of our member clubs with a record ten girls participating! The day began with registrations at 10am and after a frantic hour of sign ups and organising fixtures the tournament finally began at 11am. The games were refereed by youth workers and young leaders who a big thank you must go to. The standard of table tennis being played was extremely high and everyone had a great time watching some epic matches. The last final of the day took place in the Boys U19s with the day finishing off around 3.30pm. Everyone left having enjoyed themselves and anticipating next year’s tournament already!

Well done to everyone who took part. The event was a huge success and it was great to see so many engaged in the sport.
