I think its great that there is a charity aimed at helping our young people and the fact that I can help raise money for the charity by doing something I love (running) is brilliant!arrow
Join #TeamLondonYouth and run the London Marathon
We are London Youth and we believe that where you start off in life should not dictate where you end up.
London Youth supports and challenges young Londoners to become successful adults. We do this through a network of over 300 community youth associations in every borough of London and through direct support of more than 25,000 young people every year.
No matter where you live or work in the capital there will be a youth club we support providing young people with the support they need to develop their skills and confidence . From Haringey Shed, an inclusive youth theatre company in Haringey, to Ignite, a youth club supporting young people involved in gangs and anti-social behavior in Harrow.
Running London for London Youth – what you need to know
We ask that all our runners pledge to raise £2, 500 to support our work with young people and in return we will support you. From visits to see our work in action to a dedicated London Youth cheer station at the 25 mile mark we will give you as much motivation as you need to ensure you have an amazing Marathon experience.
We will also provide you with a personalised running vest and support you with training and fundraising tips to get you across the finish line.
Thank you to our amazing runners!
We are so grateful to our amazing runners but don’t worry if running isn’t for you: you can still be a part of #teamlondonyouth by donating to our JustGiving London Marathon fundraising page
