About the process

The London Youth membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March. All members must renew their membership annually in order to continue accessing our member benefits, including free training, events, programmes, and one-to-one support.

During the renewals process your organisation will need to do two things:

update the information we hold about your organisation and its activities
pay your membership fee

Our membership fee is based on your organisation’s annual income in your last financial year. The structure is as follows:

Income under £100k

Annual fee of £100

Income £100k - £1m

Annual fee of £150

Income over £1m

Annual fee of £200

Our renewals period opens in March and your organisation will receive an email containing a link to update your profile. You must update your profile in order to access the payment link. If you didn’t receive an email, please contact us at renewals@londonyouth.org

FAQs

How do I pay for membership?

You can pay your membership quickly and easily online by debit or credit card. If you need to pay by BACS transfer, just let us know.

Why do I need to update my profile?

It is important to us that our membership offer reflects the needs of our members, and for this reason we ask you to check the information we hold on you is up to date. We will ask you to update things like your address and contact details, young people you work with and activities you offer. If you gave us this information last year, the form will pre-populate, so you just need to check it’s still accurate.

I didn't receive an invoice.

We do not issue invoices for renewals, unless you specifically request one. Members will be able to pay quickly online by credit card, or by BACS transfer. We will issue a receipt for all payments. If you have concerns about this please contact our team.

What happens if I do not renew?

The majority of London Youth’s offer is only available to our members. If you choose not to renew, you will be unable to access training, support with your Quality Mark, discounts at our centres, and you may be removed from any programmes you are enrolled in.

What if another organisation pays for my membership?

If your organisation’s fee is paid for by another organisation, you should contact them and ask them to pay your fee. You will still need to update your organisation’s information, and we will send you a link to do this.

Do you offer discounts for membership?

We have a limited number of funded memberships available to members with an annual turnover of less than £15,000. If you would like to know more, please contact us.
