Last night London Youth's patron H.R.H Prince Philip visited two of our member clubs in the borough of Islington, Prospex and Highbury Vale Blackstock Trust which coincided with the launch of City Bridge Trust's funding for the London Youth Quality Mark programme.

The Duke of Edinburgh first visited Prospex where he able to interact with and see the young people taking part in a number of different activities including table tennis and pool.

After being given a tour of the club by Youth Services Manager Richard Frankland, Prince Philip made his way over to Highbury Vale Blackstock Trust where he was given a tour of the venue by Ronit Dassa, Chair of Trustees at Highbury Vale, and Jonielle Barratt, a young person from Highbury Vale.

Prince Philip saw the young people at Highbury Vale take part in a football session led by a youth worker and also in the Healthy Eating and Lifestyle group, providing food for guests and other young people attending on the night before being given a warm send-off by everyone at Highbury Vale as he left.
