London Youth supports a growing, thriving network of over 450 organisations within communities all across the capital.
We work with and through our members to ensure that high quality support and opportunities are available for young people who need them.
Over the last year
- We provided networking, consultation, training and celebration opportunities for over 1,650 youth professionals.
- Jointly provided 6,866 opportunities for young people to gain new skills and experiences through our programmes.
- Supported 43 members to achieve one or more standards of the London Youth Quality Mark, taking the number of members holding a London Youth Quality Mark to 94.
A critical part of our work is advocating on behalf of our members to ensure they are able to operate in a supportive environment that allows young people and youth organisations to thrive.
Our recent work
“A Space of Our Own”
Our latest report, launched in September 2018, explores the important role of youth organisations in strengthening communities.
The research is based on interviews with youth professionals and young people from across London Youth’s member network, who were interviewed by five peer researchers.
