One year on from the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh

Today we mark one year since the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. HRH Prince Philip became the Patron of London Youth in 1947 and we were honoured to be the very first of the many charitable causes to which he devoted his time and support.

As we mark one year since his death, we remember His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh’s unfaltering support and championing of London Youth and the many other charities that he supported. Prince Philip’s passion for inspiring generations of young people shone through each and every one of over 140 visits to our member youth organisations. We will never forget his commitment and drive, and we’re incredibly grateful that his legacy lives on through the tireless work of his son, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex.
