How do I join as a member?
Becoming a member of London Youth is quick and easy. You can find our application form on our Become a Member page. Once submitted, one of our team will be in touch within five working days to confirm your eligibility and to share details about how to pay your membership fee. As soon as your payment is processed you will become an official member of London Youth, and we’ll send you our Membership Pack and our Member logo that you are free to use.

How much is membership and how do I pay?
Membership costs £125 per organisation for each membership year (1 April – 31 March). After submitting your membership form, you will receive instructions on how to make your payment. You can do this easily online with a debit or credit card.

If you join more than half way through the year (on October 1 or afterwards) you will pay a reduced rate of £65.

Can I pay in instalments?
You must pay your membership fee in one payment when you join or renew. If you have concerns about this please contact

If I was a member in the past, can I re-join?
Yes, of course! If your membership has expired you will simply need to complete a new Application Form and pay the membership fee.

Who is eligible

What type of organisations can be members of London Youth?
We welcome a variety of organisations that work with and support young people in London. Our members represent the diversity of our city: theatres, sports clubs, arts organisations, urban farms, youth centres and more. Some members provide services to specific groups, such as homeless young people or refugees, and others work with young people on a wider scale. We also welcome organisations that are based within bigger community centres or organisations. You must directly deliver your work to children and/or young people in London, outside of statutory education settings.

Getting Involved

I’m a new member, how do I find out how to get involved?

You can find out when the next Getting Started meeting is by checking our Events Calendar.

How do I sign up for trainings and events?
We regularly update our Events Calendar with the latest training, networks and special events on offer. Check the details for each event to find information about how to sign up.

How do I sign up for the member newsletter?
Your organisation’s primary contact(s) will be automatically added to the mailing list for our Member Newsletter, which is sent every two weeks and includes new opportunities, events, and relevant funding calls. If other colleagues at your organisation want to receive Member News, they can sign up here. Your Membership Development Officer will also send you regular updates with more locally-relevant information and opportunities.

Can I visit the outdoor activity centres?
London Youth operates two outdoor activity residential centres:

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are not able to offer residential visits just yet, but once we are able to reopen, members will benefit from a significant discount. Please contact the teams directly if you’d like to know more.
