Description: We are looking for two motivated, well-organised and approachable individuals to join our Advice Team on a fixed-term twelve-month contract. The Advice Team is a crucial part of New Horizon’s services that support thousands of young people across London facing homelessness because of family breakdown, domestic abuse, poverty, experiences of violence, or war and persecution in their home country.

The post-holders will work to deliver our brand-new accommodation project, the first of its kind, delivering high quality, youth-specific emergency provision to young Londoners aged 18-24. Your role will be to offer advice and guidance to young people staying at the project, empowering them to move on efficiently into long-term accommodation and out of homelessness. The project will be delivered in partnership with DePaul and require collaborative working with a number of other stakeholders including specialist advice services, referral agencies and funders. You will be required to work regularly both from the project’s site in Hounslow and remotely from home.

Description: This role within New Horizon Youth Centre’s Youth Outreach Project (YOP), is a vital part of our offer by supporting young people who are rough sleeping or have involvement with the criminal justice team. The YOP team directly works to transform the lives of young people who have had the odds stacked against them and to be successful in this role you need to be resilient, adaptable and a confident team-worker. As the co-ordinator role is senior post in the YOP team, we’re looking for talented professionals that have proven experience in people management, cross team collaboration and stakeholder communication skills, all embedded in our values of diversity and inclusion.

The successful applicant will have the skills to effectively engage with and progress a complex caseload of young people who are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Safeguarding, project management, system implementation and expertise with tools such as Salesforce will also be integral to this role. To excel in this post you’ll need a broad knowledge of housing and homelessness (ideally for under 25s) and the ability to produce high-quality, mission-driven work within tight deadlines.

Description: This is an interim role as systems are developed and embedded. At the end of the interim period we will review our youth hub facilities and administrative requirements moving forwards.

As the People, Facilities and Health and Safety Coordinator (Youth Hubs) you will be responsible for providing a COVID-19 secure and well-functioning, work and youth hub environment in our two youth clubs, based in Westminster. You will ensure the health and safety of the building and equipment at the youth hubs.  You will maintain and replenish equipment and supplies. You will support the co-ordination of record keeping and paperwork related to the youth workers and to youth hubs’ operations. You will support the senior youth hubs staff and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with administrative tasks, including monitoring, events, reporting, communications and HR.  You will be the central point for IT queries and administrative support at the Youth Hubs and may co-ordinate the work of office volunteers (as required).
