Allen Lane Foundation-Social Cohesion Funding Programme

The Foundation is seeking applications from community-led grassroots groups and organisations which have a focus of work being at a very local/community level, which could be a housing estate or distinct community. Culture Seeds is the Mayor of London’s small grants programme, £1,000-£5,000, for local communities to grow grassroots arts, culture and heritage projects across the Capital. The fund is part of the Mayor of London’s Strategy for Culture, Culture for all Londoners. It’s part of the Mayor’s ambition to put culture at the heart of local communities, where it belongs.

Heart of the Community Fund | Ongoing

Every three months Virgin Heart Foundation is offering to give three local charities the chance to receive £1,000 – with awards of £500 and £250 for two runners-up.

The awards will go to the community organisations with the most votes from Virgin Money customers and Virgin Money Lounge members. There is a voting unit in each of the Lounges and visitors can pick up a small red heart when they visit, to put into the tube named with the community organisation they’d most like to support.
