About the role

We are looking for a Membership Development Officer that will specifically work with our members in North and East London. They will work closely with members to support them to achieve the London Youth Quality Mark, acting as their main point of contact, sending them personalised communications, and responding to any queries they may have.

In addition to supporting members in North and East London, the Membership Development Officer will be responsible for coordinating London Youth’s networks and events for members, making sure that these have a clear purpose, are scheduled and planned in a consistent way, and are regularly reviewed and evaluated.  They will also play a key role managing our strategic relationship with Associate Members. These are a group of organisations that support the youth sector in different boroughs and include Young People’s Foundations, CVSs, and large delivery organisations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about great youth work and will champion the work of our members. Vitally, candidates will need to be excellent communicators: you will have to be able to work with colleagues across departments, engage members with our offer, give adjusting feedback through the Quality Mark, and manage complex relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You will need to be highly organised and able to manage a varied workload. In exchange, you will be part of a dynamic team working with inspiring youth professionals across the capital and doing a diverse role where no two days are the same. If you think this would be a good fit for you, then we would love to hear from you.
