About the role

Acting as the main contact between employers and London Youth, this is a great opportunity to be able to create and maintain sustainable relationships with a range of employers to provide quality interventions for young people.  You will be working on our exciting new employability programme Future Talent which aims to level the playing field for young people seeking opportunities in London.  The programme is focused on young Londoners from BAME and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are disproportionately affected by poor job prospects.  

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator with experience of working with employers and an understanding of the youth employability sector.  You will also have a strong understanding of the barriers faced by BAME young people.  You will play an integral part in helping to design and co-ordinate employer engagement activities for young people.  

Key Information

Location: 47 – 49 Pitfield Street, London, N1 6DA

Salary: £29,517 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Leave: 26 days per annum, plus 8 bank holidays and 5 closure days

Term: Until 31st December 2020, with potential to extend, depending on funding
