Employability Network

The Employability Network brings together youth practitioners and other specialists involved in front-line youth employability programmes in London. It’s an opportunity for youth practitioners and employability delivery to share best practice, to network and partner, and to connect with experts and policymakers. The network is primarily aimed at London Youth members but is open to any organisation or statutory service involved or interested in youth employability in London.
This network we will be hearing from some very insightful speakers from Youth Futures Foundation, Greater London Authority, and other London Youth members. Speakers will be discussing:

- Youth Futures Foundation – Sharing their latest research on tackling ethnic disparities in youth employment
- Greater London Authority – How youth organisations can connect with careers education in schools and sharing their resources and tools
- Members reflecting on their delivery successes and challenges over the past 12 months
The network will be jam packed with sharing research, resources, learning and opportunities to partner with other youth professionals from across London. There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking with other members and employability delivery partners.
The network will be held at The Lift Islington, 45 White Lion Street, London, N1 9PW.

Important information about training:
- You can book a maximum of 2 people per organisation for an individual training.
- Online training is interactive, you must have connection to a microphone and cameras will be encouraged to be switched on to facilitate discussion and engagement during the session and/or in breakout rooms.
- Training Cancellation Policy – if you can no longer attend a training then please let us know at least working 3 days before the training so we can offer this training to someone on the waiting list. Cancellations made 2 working days or less before a scheduled training course may be subject to a penalty.
- We operate a waiting list for this training. If you find that a training is full and still want to attend, please email the Membership Development Support Officer. We will contact you directly before the training if there is space.
