All members get access to free training, networks and events. Our events are accessible to anyone who works or volunteers with a member youth organisation through London services. EDI for senior leaders

Content and learning outcomes:
- There is a lot of pressure to act and implement popular approaches, such as inclusive HR practice. But these top-down or external pressures can often distract leaders and organisations from taking the time to find authentic and meaningful ways to articulate how EDI can make a difference to them, their organisation, to those they work with and for.
- In this session Nexus will present a set of standards that will serve any leader and organisation well – whatever specific action you are taking, whether it is crafting an EDI statement, designing a new fund or service with an EDI lens or trying to embed EDI into everything you – allowing you to avoid generic and tick-box exercises that damage trust internally and externally.
- A lot of time will be devoted to help participants put this into practice by providing advice and coaching on the spot as well as enabling peer learning.

Important information about training
You can book a maximum of 2 people per organisation on a training session. Online training is interactive, you must have connection to a microphone and cameras will be encouraged to be switched on to facilitate discussion and engagement during the session and/or in breakout rooms.
Training Cancellation and No-show Policy – if you can no longer attend a training, please let us know at least working 3 days before. Cancellations made 2 working days or less before a scheduled training course may be subject to a penalty.
