At this network meeting, you will have the chance to find out about online mental health services and how youth organisations can signpost and use them to improve mental health provision for their young people. We will be running a session to share experience on best practice around mental health.
The Mix: A free and confidential multi-channel service for young people, it aims to give young people the information and support they need on a range of issues for everything from homelessness to finding a job, from money to mental health, from break-ups to drugs
Kooth: An online counselling and emotional well-being platform for children and young people. Kooth offers access to self-help materials, mood-tracking and goal setting tools, trained counsellors messaging and peer-to-peer support through moderated online forums.
We will also a range of free resources from other organisations for you to use. This network event is a great way to share knowledge and best practices, as well as network with other organisations within the youth sector.
This event is open to members of London Youth or anyone with an interest in youth mental health professional practice.
The Wellbeing and Mental Health Network aims to help youth professionals better support the wellbeing and mental health needs of the young people they work with. The network brings together our members and other interested youth mental health specialists to address the challenges they face in this area. It is also a forum to provide practical support to recipients of the London Youth Development Grant. You can find notes from previous meetings here.
