About the event

London Youth is teaming up with Camden Arts Centre to host an artist-led workshop focused on how youth organisations can get their young people engaged with art, in an arts setting and in your youth organisation.  This session is for youth professionals who want their young people to experience an art gallery, but want to learn where to start, how to get the most out of a gallery, and how to transfer the learning back to your youth club. We will focus on:

  • How to work with galleries and get the most out of what they have to offer
  • Finding creative ways to get young people engaged with a gallery’s collection
  • Activities inspired by Camden Arts Centre that you can take away and run with your own young people
  • Opportunities to network and learn from other youth sector professionals

This is an opportunity to explore Camden Arts Centre’s new exhibition, discuss how we can use galleries as a resource to strengthen youth work, and learn from artist Shepherd Manyika
