The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) has launched its new Access Without Limits fund for community organisations. Through the project, we can provide support and funding of up to £10,250 over the next three years to eligible voluntary sector organisations to help them set up, launch and deliver the DofE with young people aged 14 – 24.

The DofE is the world’s leading youth achievement award and is focused on personal development, encouraging young people to develop skills in a range of areas (including skills, volunteering, physical and an expedition).

The aim of the Access Without Limit fund is to ensure that more young people from marginalised backgrounds have the chance to achieve their DofE. We would love to hear from youth organisations that are interested in exploring how the DofE could link with their existing activities.

We are particularly interested to hear from organisations working in the following boroughs: Barking and Dagenham, Hackney, Newham, Islington, Tower Hamlets, Haringey, Lewisham, Southwark, and Lambeth.

If you are interested in finding out more, please see our website for further details about the grant, eligibility criteria, and how to apply.

You can also get in touch with Natalie on 07584 204510 or at Natalie.western@dofe.org to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
