About the opportunity

We need groups of 6 people to help us socialise with guests, play board games, pick up, cook and deliver a three course meal to lonely, elderly and people on a low income. We use reclaimed food from the local area and the challenge is to create a nutritious meal that also looks really good. With your help we can reduce loneliness, food waste and poverty. At least once in a week. So, come and join us, a team of local volunteers. We promise there is such a thing as a free lunch! Address Tooting URC, Rookstone Road, Tooting, SW17 9NQ

About The Graveney Canteen

The Graveney Canteem is a regular community kitchen for people living in Graveney and Tooting needing friendship, comfort and food. We collect perishable food from local green grocers and supermarkets and transform it into a delicious 3 course meal.
