Hindleap’s campsite is situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside, within our private 300 acre woodland in the Ashdown Forest.

The campsite is surrounded by ancient woodland, with some trees dating back hundreds of years, along with a diverse range of wildlife including deer and owls.

The site offers a traditional camping experience and is made up of three campsites which can accommodate up to 60 people in total. It also has modern amenities to make your visit as easy as possible, with vehicle access as well as toilets and showers close by.

Our campsites are the perfect location for an overnight stay for a Duke of Edinburgh group, Cadets, Scouts or as site to use as a base for other activities.

Your camping experience at Hindleap can also include activities such as climbing, orienteering and high ropes. This could form part of a whole weekend trip, a day or a half day. We will work with you to design your activities based on the outcomes you wish to achieve.

For further information or to make a booking, call our Development Team on 01342 822625.

Please note, all campsite bookings need to be made prior to arrival and we have a minimum booking charge of 8 people.

Our campsite is open from April to October each year.
