London Youth supports a growing, thriving network of over 320 organisations within communities all across the capital.
We work with and through our members to ensure that high quality support and opportunities are available for young people who need them. We do this through developing the capacity of youth organisations to ensure that they are
Over the last year
- We provided networking & training opportunities for over 500 youth professionals.
- Jointly provided 6,543 opportunities for young people to gain new skills and experiences through our programmes.
- Supported 31 members to achieve one or more standards of the London Youth Quality Mark, taking the number of members holding a London Youth Quality Mark to 97.
A critical part of our work is advocating on behalf of our members to ensure they are able to operate in a supportive environment that allows young people and youth organisations to thrive.
Our recent work
Hidden in Plain Sight
This pivotal report, launched in 2018, shines a light on the 480,000 young people who are ‘hidden’ from the labour market. We used the findings from our research to call for an overhaul of youth strategies and the development of a tripartite approach between Government, business and the youth sector to fund youth-centric employment initiatives and re-engage ‘hidden’ young people.
