Understanding & responding to young Londoner’s changing needs
On the morning of Monday 20 March, London Youth will be hosting the launch of the new report Young people’s capital of the world? Understanding & responding to young Londoners’ changing needs, in partnership with Centre for London.
This report takes an in-depth look at the needs of young people in five London boroughs – Barking and Dagenham, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Waltham Forest – and considers how young people’s needs have changed, and are continuing to change, in these areas.
Carried out in partnership between Centre for London and London Youth, and with the generous support of UBS, the research draws on the experiences of young people and youth professionals and is set against the backdrop of London as a global city and the opportunities that this presents for young Londoners.
The event will bring together a panel of experts representing the voluntary sector, funders, local authorities and young people, as well as a cross-sector audience for an informative and engaging discussion about how we can best support young people in London to become the dynamic, thriving adult population of tomorrow.
This private event is organised by London Youth, and is by invitation only. If you would like to receive an invitation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
