Movement to Work wins at the 2017 Children and Young People Now Awards

London Youth is proud to congratulate Movement to Work on being recognised as the winner of the Partnership Working Award at the 2017 Children & Young People Now Awards. The awards, which were presented on 22 November at the Lancaster London, celebrate excellence in the children and youth sectors.

The Partnership Working Award is awarded for: “the outstanding multi-agency project or team that has made the greatest improvement to people’s lives. This applies to partnership working between statutory and public sector agencies as well as those involving organisations in the voluntary and private sectors.”

Movement to Work is a charitable collaboration of UK employers committed to tackling youth unemployment through high-quality work experience and vocational training opportunities for young people that are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). Since 2013, Movement to Work’s over 250 UK employers have given placement opportunities to 64,000 young people, with 54% leading to positive outcomes. London Youth is proud to be partnered with Movement to Work through our Talent Match London employability programme.

We would like to congratulate all the winners at the 2017 CYP Now Awards.
