The Talent Match Croydon Career support Coach will support young people on the final part of their journey into employment. This exciting role will be co-located between Croydon Council and the Talent Match Croydon Programme Team. You will have experience of supporting young people into fulfilling careers and understand the different types of support that help young people gain and sustain employment.

Main duties of the role:

  • Working with young people who have participated in Talent Match Croydon to support them to find and sustain employment according to the principles of the programme.
  • Collaborate with employers to create opportunities for young people to explore and experience work as well as creating opportunities for employment
  • Promote career-focused opportunities to young people across Talent Match Croydon’s programmes
  • Develop strong and productive working relationships with relevant statutory partners.

Salary: £ 28,939

Pension: London Youth will make employer contributions of 3% into the scheme on your behalf.

Hours: 40 hrs per week (full time). However we are entering into a consultation with employees to consider a reduction by 2.5 hours per week for a full-time role, and therefore there is a possibility that these contracted hours may be reduced on a pro rata basis

Leave: 26 days pa plus 8 bank holidays and 5 ‘closure’ days (to be taken on dates specified by London Youth).


A fixed term contract to September 2019, subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period.
