Dare London Youth Advisory Board

Dare London is a body of 20 young Londoners, representing a collective voice of the thousands of young people who use the services of our members every day.

Aged 16 to 25, Dare Londoners volunteer to support and guide our work at all levels. They are embedded into decision making internally, influence those in power and represent us at many external events every year.

Dare Londoners come from all walks of life from our network of member clubs from right across London. Their experiences promote the importance and value of good youth work.

We offer an exciting and varied selection of opportunities to make this a reality, and through training and 121 sessions ensure participants have the skills and qualities required to successfully represent the views of young people across the capital.

To find out more about Dare London please contact Cassie Doerfler: cassie.doerfler@londonyouth.org / call 020 7549 8800.

London Youth doesn’t just work with young Londoners, we include them in decision-making, opportunities to influence those in power and support our members to become the best they can be.

We are excited to announce that we are seeking 10 new young people to join Dare London from September 2017.

If you are aged 16-25 and looking to become a confident leader making positive changes in your community, come along to our recruitment evening on Tuesday 22nd August at 5:30pm.

Here's what Dare Alumni say...
  • Teresa, Former Dare Londoner

“Dare to me is everything! Dare gave me courage and hope. A family. Something I could believe in where my voice mattered. A sense of community. Support. Knowledge. It’s helped me to grow as a person. To be more confident and go for my dreams. It was a challenge at times. But I embraced the journey. I was able to do things I’d never done before. Dare is a blessing.”
