There are a number of ways youth clubs and organisations can source the resources they need to provide an effective service to their members… And London Youth is here to help guide you every step of the way.

Clubs can contact their local MP and engage them on all the great work they are doing in their constituency. MPs can be invited to attend club sessions, to meet the young people involved with the clubs and hear directly from them on the issues they care about.

Once a relationship has been established, youth organisations can speak to their local MPs on a range of subjects from financial issues such as benefits, tax and national insurance to wider issues including immigration, the NHS and school closures.

MPs can be reached by contacting their website or searching on the They Work For You website.

It is also useful to remember to register to vote and to work to engage younger people in electoral politics.
